One Team, Multiple Locations

The Infrastructure Acceleration Fund is African by design and global in perspective. Our team operates across multiple regions of Africa, combining local knowledge with a strong pan-African perspective. This ensures that our investment decisions are informed, inclusive, and regionally relevant.

Our distributed regional presence helps us:

  • Understand local dynamics and intercontinental regulatory environments
  • Forge partnerships with national stakeholders and community leaders
  • Identify infrastructure gaps and opportunities at ground level

Our gender strategy

Through the pursuit of a gender-smart investment strategy that seeks to integrate gender considerations in all stages of the investment process, we contribute to addressing known disparities and aligning with the 2x Global Challenge initiative. IAF is already aligned with 2x criteria on female representation in the workforce at the fund level, and is committed to 30% portfolio alignment with 2x at the point of investment. The Fund is also targeting alignment with BII’s BOLD initiative to further support integration of inclusion and diversity considerations into the investment process.
