Hamym Youssouf joined Africa50 IAF in 2025 as an Investment Analyst.

Prior to joining Africa50, he served as an M&A Intern at Lazard and BNP Paribas CIB in Paris, advising on large-cap infrastructure, power and utilities transactions across Europe and the Middle East. Hamym began his professional journey in 2023 as a Private Equity Analyst Intern at Adenia Partners in Abidjan.

A French citizen, Hamym attended Lycée Kléber preparatory classes. He holds a Master in Management from emlyon business school and a BSc in Economics from the University of Strasbourg. He was also a research student at École Normale Supérieure (ENS) de Lyon, where his work focuses on public-private partnerships for energy infrastructure development in Africa.
