Jay Katatumba is a Senior Investment Director at Africa50 Infrastructure Acceleration Fund (Africa50 IAF) with 14+ years experience in private equity and investment banking.

He was involved in Africa50 IAF’s inaugural investment in Mass Céréales Al Maghreb, and joined the Africa50 IAF from Africa50’s permanent capital vehicle where he led transactions and held board roles for investments in PAIX Data Centers and Genser Energy.

Prior to that, Jay was an Investment Professional at Helios Investment Partners in London. He started his career as an Analyst at Citigroup’s Global Industrials Group in London where he advised on M&A, leveraged buyouts, restructurings and debt and equity financings.

Jay is a Ugandan and British national. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
